Van Deer W27 Freeride 98

The Van Deer FREERIDE 98 is a high-performance all-mountain ski built for skiers who want power, versatility, and a playful feel across the entire mountain. With a 98mm waist, it offers a balanced combination of soft-snow float and reliable edge grip, making it equally capable carving groomers, navigating tight trees, and exploring untouched powder. A favorite of Marcel Hirscher, the FREERIDE 98 delivers the stability to charge at speed while remaining agile enough to adapt to changing terrain and conditions.

A beech and poplar wood core is reinforced with dual Titanal layers and carbon for a powerful, responsive ride with excellent stability. The surfy tip rocker enhances float and maneuverability in softer snow, while full ABS sidewalls provide dependable edge hold and precision through turns. Finished with race-inspired edges and the signature red base, the FREERIDE 98 brings World Cup-level construction to a versatile ski designed for everyday freeride performance.
