Rossignol's Evo Act 55 Jr Ar/Tour Jr Si Ski is a great cross-country touring ski for kids. It's light and nimble just like any Nordic ski should be, except it's slightly more stable and grippy for touring over unmaintained terrain. The fish scales give enough grip to keep kids from sliding on slightly steep hills.
