Gear West Recommends

DPS Grom 99

The DPS Grom 99 is a playful junior freeride ski built for young skiers who want to explore deeper snow and more challenging terrain. Its 99mm waist and generous rocker in the tip and tail provide plenty of float and make the ski easy to pivot, slash, and maneuver in soft snow.

Camber underfoot adds stability and responsiveness when conditions become firmer, giving the Grom 99 a balanced feel across the mountain. The Foundation construction combines a wood core with fiberglass and carbon reinforcement to keep the ski energetic and stable without making it overly demanding.

Best For: Junior / Freeride / Powder
Ability: Intermediate to Advanced
Waist: 99mm
Profile: Rocker / Camber / Rocker
Turn Radius: 15–16m
Construction: Foundation
Core: Wood
Laminates: Fiberglass + Carbon
