You could call this a “convergence” product. A few years back, we pioneered the first Omloop Thermal Bibshort, inspired by pro riders who would cut off their knee warmers right at the bend of the knee during a brisk, sunny Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. We set out to make a bibshort cut exactly to that point, discovering along the way that it could be made without a gripper elastic — and that the extra 10 centimeters of fabric actually add significant warmth. Those first Omloop shorts were designed for cool, dry conditions, just like the race that inspired them. Fast-forward to 2026: We’re taking that same thinking and applying it to the Espresso Thermal Bibshort. Using the warm and soft Thermoflex fabric from the Espresso 2 Thermal Bibtight, this new bibshort combines warmth, stretch, and comfort in a performance-driven design. It’s the ultimate transition product — everything you loved about the Omloop Thermal Bibshort, but evolved for modern riders and longer rides.
