The GEL-CUMULUS® 28 shoe is a lightweight running shoe that's designed to provide a smooth underfoot experience.
FF BLAST™ MAX foam is one of our most energetic cushioning technologies. This material is designed to help create cloud-like landings and a responsive toe-off during your run.A FLUIDRIDE™ outsole material is strategically placed to provide smooth transitions between strides. An AHAR® LO material is also positioned in the heel area for added traction and durability in high wear areas.

The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.

Gear West ships purchases using UPS and USPS. We make every effort to get your order out as quickly as possible. Some products including skis may take longer to process depending on the shop services required. We do not offer deferred shipping options.

After orders are submitted, they are considered in-process and cannot be altered, canceled, or held for a later shipping date. We work quickly to get your items picked, serviced, boxed, and shipped to you as soon as possible. When you receive your order, you may return any of the items using the instructions found on our Returns & Exchanges page.

U.S. Shipping Options

UPS Ground (3-7 day delivery)
$15.00 flat rate.
Excludes All Oversize Items and Bike* and shipping to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada

2nd Day ( 2 Business Days excludes weekend and holidays)

Flat Rate = $100.00

Overnight (next day air delivery excludes weekends & holidays)
Flat Rate = $200.00

*Oversize packages incur an additional $20 charge (see below for more info on oversize packages).

Hawaii and Alaska Residents
Use USPS Priority Shipping which may include an additional charge.

USPS Priority (3-7 day delivery Alaska and Hawaii)

UPS Ground*

Flat Rate = $55 (An additional Brokerage Fee can be up to $20 or more depending on shipment size. Multiple boxes incur higher brokerage fees. Brokerage fees are the responsibility of the receiver and are non-negotiable.)

Additional charges will be added for shipping of oversize items

**Due to the Canada Post strike all shipments to Canada will be shipped via UPS Ground. Be on the lookout for any changes.**

Canadian Duties and Taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

*Oversize Packages - Standard oversize charge = additional $20.00.

Some items are subject to an additional oversize shipping charge. They include but are not limited to:

-Skis

-Ski Poles

-Sportube Ski Carriers

-Wax Tables and Ski Wax Forms

For all shipments, the oversize charge gets added to the base charge.

Oversize charge covers up to two oversize items. Additional oversize items will accumulate additional charges.
Additional shipping charges may be needed for heavy items.

Shipping of bikes in only available to the lower 48 United States. We utilize Bike Flights to ship bikes. Sometimes a bike will ship in a bike box different from what is ordered, i.e. an Intese bike shipping in a Cervelo box. Bike shipping charge is $200 and only ship via Ground.

Order Processing

Orders are processed quickly and ship out on weekdays excluding holidays. Some products and services may add additional delays to shipping which include but are not limited to:

-Nordic Skis: Race skis are handpicked and tested to confirm fit (based on height/weight) and quality, which may delay shipping up to 24 hours.

-Poles to be cut: If you are requesting a pole to be cut to a custom length, this may delay shipping up to 24 hours.

-Basic wax: wax services on skis including hotbox and single layer glide may delay shipping up to 24 hours.

-Premium wax: wax service on skis including World Cup Hotbox, Hotbox + Race hardening and other race wax services may delay shipping up to 48 hours.

-Stonegrind services: Stonegrinding is an advanced multi-step process that may delay shipping up to 10 days, although it is often much quicker.

-Outgoing shipments/shipping windows: outgoing shipments are picked up daily Monday through Friday excluding holidays. There is no pickup on weekends or holidays such as Christmas Day and Eve, New Year's Day and Eve, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, and The 4th of July. No orders are shipped on those days. If an order is placed during or near a no-ship window (including expedited or next day air shipping), Gear West is not responsible for resulting shipping delays.

Free Shipping Offers

If your order exceeds a certain amount, as periodically advertised on our sites, you may qualify for free shipping. For example, we may offer free shipping on orders over $200. Free shipping offers are applied to the order total after any promotions or credits are applied. If this option is available, you will see it advertised on our sites and the available free shipping method will be pre-selected at checkout for your convenience. Skis, ski packages, rollerski packages, ski poles, and other oversized items are excluded.

Exclusions from Estimated Shipping Timelines and Free Shipping Offers

Estimated Shipping Timelines and Free Shipping Offers do not apply to:

Products shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international orders
PO boxes & APO addresses
Pre-orders or backorders
Items that must be sent by ground or freight because they are oversized, hazardous, or flammable as identified on the product page. (Examples include skis, poles, snowboards, bike wheels, wax tables and forms, travel cases, SUP boards, car racks, indoor bike trainers, and items containing lithium batteries.)

Shipping Policy Restrictions - Some items have specific shipping restrictions or cannot be shipped at all. Restrictions include:

-We currently are unable to ship bicycles.

-Some products such as liquid wax and wax remover cannot be shipped via air transport due to safety regulations/government restrictions, and therefore can only be shipped on standard ground

How do I return?

Visit our returns center
Enter your order number and email address to start
Follow the instructions and select the items you want to return
Once your request is approved, you will get a confirmation email with shipping guidelines
Please note that we do not cover return shipping or refused delivery

What items are returnable?

Within 30 days from the date of purchase
- Orders returned after 30 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee
In unused and resalable condition
In the original packaging with all the tags intact

What items are non-refundable?

The following items cannot be returned:

Gift cards
Labor (mounting, grinds, hotboxes, etc.)
Outbound Shipping
Refused Deliveries
Closeout items (if applicable)
Returns of mounted skis will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

The item I received is damaged!

If the purchased product is faulty, reach out to us within 7 days of the delivery date.

Can the items be exchanged?

We allow the exchange of purchased items for selectable variants. It is best to order the replacement item/s and we will refund the other items/s when returned.

What are the refund options?

The following refund options are supported:

Refund to the original payment method
Refund to store credit (if applicable)

How do I ship back the items?

For instructions on how to ship the returned products, refer to the email received after placing the return request.

How soon will I get my refund?

Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via email. You will also be informed about the approval or rejection of your refund request. If approved, the refund request will be processed within 7 - 10 business days after approval.
