The Gravel West Adventure Ride is back for another year! 

 We are hoping this year is a
ton of fun, we will be riding through a combination of road, gravel, grass,
mud, sand, and hopefully water. You'll never be more than 40 miles from the
heart of downtown Minneapolis, but hopefully you feel like you are truly 'out
there.' 

This event is not a race.
That being said, get into a group that wants to ride fast, or meet some new
friends who are out for an all-day adventure. On the long course you'll pass a
brewery (or two), multiple wineries and some high-quality restaurants. The courses will only be marked on Sunday, Oct.
15th (and only when on private property) so make sure you have the course files
downloaded or cue sheets printed out. They will be sent out via email.

Want an award? If you want
to be on the leaderboard, use Strava to track your ride, a Segment will be
created, and if you want to win prizes for costumes and/or pictures please use
Facebook and Instagram with the tags #makingtracks and #gearwestfun. We will be
in touch with anyone who wins a prize!

the same, at the same time, make sure you don't get in over your head or go the
wrong way!
