They are great bc easy to replace on trail (unlike glue on). But they break super easy. I’ve “kicked” many a glued on ferrule without issue; hit 2 of these the last couple RS and they were totally gone from end of pole shaft! Thankfully I had a spare and am ordering a bunch more!!

This is a great improvement over the old but still viable hot glue system. Even better, when they arrived to support continued rollerskiing on frozen asphalt, given our ongoing snow drought—it snowed!—doubtless because I ordered these up. But now they are ready to go for Summer 2026 training.
