Duluth JNQ/CCSA Wax Recommendation

We have been busy testing the new fluor free waxes this early winter, if you are looking for a recommendation for this weekend’s  JNQ/CCSA, see below.  We have tested waxes from Swix, Rex, Vauhti, Rode, and Start, among others, below are some recommendations that will make your skis fast in these fluor-free times.

Duluth JNQ/CCSA Saturday -- Duluth MN

Weather-

Friday - Partly sunny, with a high near 33. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Friday NightA slight chance of snow and freezing drizzle after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. East wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday - Snow likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 33. East wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Saturday Night - A slight chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Sunday - Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. North wind around 5 mph becoming east in the morning.
