The American Cancer Society Charity Runner program empowers runners and other athletes to transform their passion for endurance events into a lifesaving effort to fight cancer. The program helps runners accomplish their goal of completing a marathon, half-marathon, triathlon, or other long-distance race while offering a unique opportunity to dedicate their training and participation to ending this disease. Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way and everyone has a story. Many runners dedicate their races to loved ones who have been touched by cancer.
