The Washburn Games is a
unique and fun recreational opportunity. It's an annual event that brings together
resources from throughout the Twin Cities, including adults, kids, and the corporate
community.
It gives kids ages
five through twelve the opportunity to explore a wide variety of athletic activities in a
non-competitive, non-threatening environment. It also gives everyone involved a chance to
support at-risk children by supporting the work of the Washburn Center for Children:www.washburn.org.
Participants who
reach the $100 fundraising goal will be entered in a drawing for a $1,000 educational
grant and other fun prizes. Registration is limited to the first 500 children to sign up.
The Washburn Games involve more than 15 supervised activities, including:
- Soccer
- Baseball
- Cricket
- Basketball
- Football
There's no keeping score, there's only having fun. And the only way to not have
fun, is to not participate.
