The CXC Log is designed to be used for athletes in almost any endurance sport. It will be especially valuable when used in conjunction with the training programs on http://www.cxcacademy.com. Like the CXC Academy, this log is organized around 13 four-week periods over the course of the year. You can start recording at the beginning of the log and use it for one calendar year from your first entry or you can jump into the corresponding period. I always start my yearly training log from the first week in May. Each period in this log starts with a story related to training at that time of the season, from the first bike ride of spring, to dealing with humid Midwestern summers, to fall hikes in the Adirondacks, to racing the SuperTour and World Cup circuit in the winter. Along the way, you will find inspirational stories, pictures, and advice to help you achieve your goals!
