The Asics Fortitude 5 shoe is a maximum support shoe is designed for large-framed runners with a neutral gate, as well as orthotics wearers. We've made it dramatically lighter, expanded the toe box, improved heel fit and made the midsole firmer to enhance stability.

Asics Fortitude 5 Features:

Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems
Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.

ComforDry Sockliner
Provides cushioning performance and anti-odor properties for a cooler, drier, healthier environment.

Trusstic System
Reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.

P.H.F. (Personal Heel Fit)
2 layers of memory foam line the collar and mold to the athlete’s heel, creating a personalized fit.

Guidance Line
Vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency.

Solyte® Midsole Material
A lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS’ standard EVA and SpEVA®. Also features enhanced cushioning and durability.
